Full Moon Cleansing

Today marks the full Moon known as the 'Pink Moon’ whose name originates from the flowering of pink Moss Phlox, a plant originating in North America which has beautiful pink flowers at this time of year. There won’t be a special moon meditation today as I am starting to wind things down here in Orkney as we continue to make preparations to move south, however it is the perfect time to have a spring clean and place all those much loved, well used crystals to cleanse!

Earth Healing Meditation

Tonight’s Earth healing meditation, 23/04/24, through 8pm BST, has the focus: 

'To cleanse, nurture and strengthen the planetary body of the Earth and her inhabitants.’

Earth Day 2024

Today we celebrate Earth Day 2024. This years theme is 'Planet vs Plastics’ focusing on collective action to help repair and heal the planets ecosystems, combat climate change and support biodiversity. There are special events taking place across the globe open for all to take part in or donate to: www.earthday.org, alternatively each of us can action our own way of supporting our beautiful planet. 

Crystal Earthworks is this year focusing on finding ways to reduce the use of plastic in our lives and removing existing plastic from the environment. If you feel drawn to taking part, simply find one way, this week, you can reduce your plastic use on a permanent basis and /or collect and recycle any plastic and other litter in your local area.

Soil and soul

As we continue our preparations to move south, after 14 years in Orkney, I’ve just taken up and cleansed the malachite from our greenhouse here. Programmed to reinvest the soil, and all foods grown in that soil with a Light charge that can then be passed on to those who consume the foods, these beautiful crystals have blessed us with so much over our years of growing produce here.

Eternally grateful for their healing light, we are taking them, and the gravel filled pots in which they have sat over the years, with us, ready to put them to use again in our new location.

Solar Eclipse and New Moon Meditation

Our regular Tuesday meditation this week is being replaced by a special meditation this evening, Monday 8/04/24, marking tonight's solar eclipse and new moon in Aries. Eclipses offer us key energy portals to connect to ways forward to instigate positive change both for ourselves and others. 

The particular alignment of the stars and planets tonight, combined with the energy of a new moon in Aries which occurs early this evening, just before the eclipse begins, offers a potent opportunity to connect to ways to greater nurture ourselves, each other and our beautiful planet.

As we prepare our garden for its new owners, I was reminded last weekend of the amazing recycling abilities of our beautiful Mother Earth. Photos show the rich compost mulch our veggie waste has turned into here in Orkney in around nine months thanks to the warmth of the sun and the abundance of worms which naturally introduced themselves through holes we had made in the bottom of the bin. Composting is truly a magical gift both to ourselves and our planet.

The second crystal planted on our recent trip south was this beautiful apple aura to a ‘mother tree’ in birch woodland on the banks of  Loch Alvie, Scotland. Programmed to ground the emerald green light of harmony, balance, restoration and replenishment to the Earth and her inhabitants, these stunning crystals are being planted to key trees and woodland/forest sites across the UK and beyond.

Good Friday 2024 Configuration

Mariposite Planting

The first crystal planted on our recent trip south was a mariposite to beautiful Loch Alvie just outside Aviemore in the Cairngorm National Park, Scotland. These chromium rich crystals, programmed to strengthen all forms of life within the lochs and lochans to which they are placed, are part of our work to strengthen the planetary body of the Earth. They are currently being planted across Scotland.

Full Moon Meditation

Our regular meditation pattern changes this week to encompass the energies of todays Full Moon and partial Lunar Eclipse, and the approaching festival of Easter. 

Tuesday's meditation thus moves to tonight 25/03/24, through 8pm GMT, and Thursday's is replaced by meditation events on Good Friday, 29/03/24 through 3pm GMT and Easter Sunday, 31/03/24, through12 PM BST, full details to be shared later in the week.

Back to today, Full Moons are a great time, energetically, to take stock, celebrate all that we have achieved over the last cycle, and acknowledge all that has stood in our way, or is no longer required, ready to begin to allow the old energies to release and fall away as the moon begins to ebb. The energetic opportunities for release and rebalance are further magnified when the full moon coincides, as today, with a lunar eclipse.

Eternal gratitude goes to all who have connected in over the past couple of weeks to the projects Peace Meditations and Global Healing Cairn. 

We have been away south in beautiful Perthshire, Scotland, catching up with family, and searching for a new home and base for the crystal work. It felt lovely to personally experience connecting into both the meditations and cairn from afar, and I also managed to make the most of several crystal planting opportunities that arose on our travels, which I’ll be sharing more of over the coming weeks.

As we enter March 2024, the first signs of spring are appearing all around us, here in the northern hemisphere, even as far north as here in Orkney. For the first two weeks of this month, Crystal Earthworks is focusing its energies on 'Peace for All’.

In addition the rose quartz global healing cairn, here at Old Nisthouse in Orkney, remains open with the same focus. Tree Trimming and Crystals

I wrote about planting rose quartz to the base of trees that had recently been cut back a few months ago. I’ve continued with this work this morning, planting rose quartz to the base of a tree on the trackway we use near our house which had recently been pruned by the local farm to enable access. I also placed a chunk of rose quartz to the corner of our own land next to trees recently felled on our neighbours land asking that the energy be veiled to the remaining tree stumps on the other side of the wall. Both of these pieces of rose quartz are programmed to bring peace and healing to the trees to which they have been placed or the energy sent.

Calcite Planting and Ley Lines

Lovely to be back doing some crystal planting this weekend, even if it was rather misty and blustery. The fulmars seemed to be loving playing along the cliff edges on the up-draughts!

This was a joint trip out to place some personal crystals marking the completion of a body of training I’ve been doing over the last nine months, but also to place a further piece of calcite to the coastline of Orkney. 

Programmed to strengthen the mineral body of the Earth, these 'earthy', very solid crystals are being placed to both inland and coastal rocky outcrops. Acting as anchors of Light they help to strengthen and support the physical body of our beautiful planet. The the energy of each one planted can be far reaching, as they feel to channel Light into the subtle energy of the Earth through the ley line grid system. These subtle energy channels are key to healthy planetary flow. Also known as dragon lines in many cultures, it felt fitting that this was the first crystal planted since the beginning of the Chinese New Year, this being the year of the Dragon.

We continue with our Tuesday Earth healing meditations, tonight 13/02/24, through 8pm GMT, with a familiar focus but a new crystal configuration. 

The focus for tonight, and each second Tuesday of the month, throughout 2024, is:

'To bring greater harmony and balance to the Earth's energy field.'

These meditations will use the beautiful combination of a Pure Grace Heart, four chalcopyrite and four angel aura, as shown below, and are in response to the high levels of human produced electromagnetic radiation swamping our planet at this time.

Please feel welcome to join us from wherever you are based across the globe. Simply sit in peace, in a quiet place, through the allotted time. Let go of all your own worries and concerns, and then use the words and image of the crystals as a positive focus in meditation, positive thought or prayer. The crystals will be ignited for twenty minutes from 7.50pm to 8.10pm GMT, and can be tuned into for all or part of that time. If you are in a different time zone please feel able to connect into the energy of these meditations at a time to suit you.

Bagging the Bruck

We had the gift of venturing to the sea briefly last week inbetween the storms and the snow. As always after wild wether here there was plastic in various forms and guises washed up on the beach. We did our bit and collected what we could and it was heart warming to see others there, doing the same. 

As I've mentioned before we are on a continual journey to reduce the use of plastic in our lives. It's not always easy but there are more plastic free aternatives on the market than ever before. We also crystal grid our rubbish and recycle areas with amethyst to contain the energy of these areas and to begin to transmute that energy earthwards. Amethyst can also be put to great effect to energy contain any local landfill areas.
